Early this evening Swatara Fire-Rescue was alerted to I-283 South for an auto accident. Chief 91-2 arrived and confirmed 1 person trapped. Rescue 91 arrived and removed the driver’s door to extricate the patient. Rescue 91-5 and Tower 91 were also on scene to assist. Traffic 91 assisted the State Police for several hours afterward.
