Chief 91 Comes Across A House Fire
Swatara Fire-Rescue responded to a house fire at the 1200 block of Main St. earlier today. Firefighters swiftly sprung into action, ultimately rescuing one individual from the second floor of the residence. The rescued individual was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
In addition to the successful rescue of the occupant, Swatara Fire-Rescue also conducted multiple pet rescues.
The successful rescue and containment of the fire were made possible due to the quick response times and decisive actions of Swatara Fire-Rescue and units from surrounding jurisdictions.
“We are immensely proud of our firefighters for their quick response and professionalism during today’s incident,” said Mike Ibberson, Fire Chief of Swatara Fire-Rescue. “Their bravery and dedication undoubtedly saved lives and prevented further damage.”
